No proper oval racing rules package including cautions. It doesn't matter how good they get the physics and the graphics if you are going to break the realism on something as important as the rules. Now I wonder how bad the rules package is for the other forms of racing as well. I was on the fence about this game up to the point of reading that they didn't include proper rules for the Ovals. So glad I waited instead of clicking the buy button at launch.
Add some short tracks even if they arent the more famous ones and include proper realistic rules and then you have a proper sim. They don't need to be Nascar style rules but atleast get things up to Indy Car standards. That alone destroys the realism of oval racing and is my main reason for not buying the game right now.
I am open to an oval DLC though at some point, reviewers are saying the Nascar type cars are really good too, but we do need restarts etc to make it a genuine oval sim Jim님이 먼저 게시:There is oval racing I think, but they have no caution system which is a major downer imo.
